Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks an Electrical Test supervisor to lead the Electrical Engineering Test team in Poway, CA.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team supporting production avionics, flight-test instrumentation, ground systems, and automated test environments. You will guide test plans, hardware/software reviews, and TE activities while developing talent and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in engineering or a related field.
• Six+ years of progressively complex engineering experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW, Databases, or flight test instrumentation systems.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance; active Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities for electrical test engineering projects.
• Plan, manage, and ensure technical performance to meet objectives.
• Serve as engineering contact for FOF, Production Avionics, GCS, and Aircraft Integration.
• Lead test plan reviews and engineering efforts for automation and instrumentation.
• Identify issues and reallocate resources or modify project specs.
• Develop and mentor technical staff and engineers.
