Job summary
Hyper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Testing Engineer to lead electrical testing of power distribution equipment, ensuring safety, performance, reliability, and compliance with UL, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Certification teams to validate products and strengthen test processes.
You will develop test plans and oversee functional, hi-pot, insulation resistance, grounding, and load tests, mentoring junior staff and supporting FAT
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of electrical testing/validation experience for power distribution equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, control wiring, and protection schemes.
- Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with UL, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute electrical testing of power distribution equipment (switchgear, panels, PDUs, RPPs).
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, hi-pot, insulation resistance, grounding, and load testing.
- Analyze test results and lead root-cause investigations.
