About This Role

Responsibilities

• Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter.
• Gather requirements and analyze based on engineering design documentation.
• Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategies and coverage for functional requirements.
• Perform daily responsibilities including research and development of electrical design concepts, performance calculations, and hands-on support of lab testing and troubleshooting.
• Grow in electrical engineering expertise, including analog and digital circuits, cable design, and debugging electrical assemblies.
• Conduct data collection activities, including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
• Develop test stations utilizing PXI, LAN, USB, and other instrumentation in automated parametric measurements.
• Utilize scripting languages for programming low-level instrumentation for measurement gathering.
• Assist with designing, developing, and documenting test equipment for electronic products and transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
• Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures for all audiences.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum of 2+ years of related experience.
