Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to develop and maintain manufacturing acceptance tests for electric propulsion hardware. You will author specifications, define acceptance criteria from component requirements, and design equipment used for testing.

Collaboration with internal teams and vendors is essential to troubleshoot issues and support development, qualification, and readiness activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical design and/or testing experience.
• 3+ years developing design documentation, including plans, specifications, test procedures, and related engineering documentation.
• Experience with electronic hardware testing.
• Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining manufacturing acceptance test procedures.
• Ability to create test specifications and establish acceptance criteria from component-level requirements.
• Experience supporting hardware development testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

• PAY: $50-51 an hour depending on experience
• SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT: Fully On-site. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
• DURATION: 6 month contract with potential for extension/conversion

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of electrical design and/or testing experience.
• 3+ years developing design documentation, including plans, specifications, test procedures, and related engineering documentation.
• Experience with electronic hardware testing.
• Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining manufacturing acceptance test procedures.
• Ability to create test specifications and establish acceptance criteria from component-level requirements.
• Experience supporting hardware development testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $51.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
