Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to lead the development of test cases, plans, and procedures for electronic devices with Bluetooth and NFC. The role requires independent work with support from a larger team to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include creating and executing validation tests, leading Bluetooth/NFC device testing, and building production-level test setups for regulated products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical test engineering.
• Proficiency in developing and overseeing production-level test setups.
• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth (especially low power Bluetooth) and NFC technologies.
• Experience with test equipment such as LabVIEW, oscilloscopes, and ASICs.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $76.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
