Test Engineer – Industrial and Commercial Packaging Manufacturing

The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, executing test plans, and analyzing test results for new and existing industrial printing products. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and collaborates with design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.

This role is full-time on-site in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing methods for Design Verification.
• Ensure product quality by creating test fixtures, including building, programming, debugging, and deploying.
• Maintain and update test fixtures and equipment supporting functional and final acceptance tests.
• Participate in design reviews and design for testability.
• Compile test data and define necessary changes in test equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or test requirements.
• Understand product requirements to select sensors and equipment for full test strategy creation.
• Translate customer requirements into test cases for product qualification and production testing.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in science or STEM discipline, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product testing and qualification.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, embedded software, and communication protocols.
