Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a test technician to perform electrical testing and calibration tasks on production floor equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and train junior team members while maintaining equipment and ensuring quality standards.

The role requires 1–3+ years in electrical/mechanical work, ability to follow safety protocols, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years in an electrical or mechanical-related role.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment on a product floor.
• Ability to mentor less-experienced team members.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard functional tests on electrical products and systems following procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform tests and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and training to Assistant Test Technicians and other junior team members.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and protocols.
