Job summary

Alltex Staffing & Personnel is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and preserve electrical systems across industrial facilities. You’ll respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and service equipment like mixers and bins, often in tight spaces or at heights.

The role requires reading blueprints and electrical diagrams, using voltmeters and multimeters, and ensuring code-compliant, safe operation with proper PPE and lockout/tagout practices.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain wiring and electrical equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Respond to breakdowns and electrical failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Service industrial machinery such as mixers, aggregate bins, and batch plants.
• Access and repair electrical control panels, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights.
• Use diagnostic tools like voltmeters and multimeters to identify issues.
• Install new electrical systems, including conduits, control panels, and power distribution units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Fabricate safety circuits and modify existing equipment as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and company safety policies.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
