Based in State College, the position is 100% on-site with potential hybrid options depending on research requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of electronic circuits and components in analog and digital design.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe products.
• Collaborative experience in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support PCB design workflow: schematics, PCBs, assemblies, library parts, BOMs and documentation.
• Collaborate on conceptual electro-mechanical system designs with technical staff.
• Assist with material selection, tolerance analysis, manufacturing support and cost projections.
• Provide work status updates and present at design review meetings with senior staff.
• Support evolving design methods and templates for new research programs.
• Assist in development or evaluation of new software tools and processes.
