Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Electronic Technician for a 6+ contract position in Memphis, TN. Pay range is $24/hr to $27/hr, with shifts including First, Second, and Weekend.

The role involves assembling finished units, wiring and harness testing, inventory coordination, and following 5S and safety procedures under supervision. Ideal candidates have 1+ year wiring experience and basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years background in electrical wiring.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC with Windows and related software.
• Read and understand visual aids.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to interpret graphs and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assembles finished units per customer specifications.
• Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members.
• Uses manual and automated lifting devices per safety specs.
• Pull, crimp, install, and test electrical wiring and wiring harnesses.
• Keeps inventory informed of spare parts inventory and locations for orders.
• Performs part replacement on tools as needed and per schedule.
• Resolves routine questions and problems; refers complex issues upward.
• Works under direct, close supervision with output monitored frequently.
• Follows routine, standardized procedures to accomplish tasks.
• Selects from established procedures to perform duties.
• Follows detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids.
