Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of electrical trade experience per WG-10 and SCA.
• Experience installing/repairing electrical equipment (generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, motors, heating units, conduit).
• Experience providing electrical integration including grounding bond prep for fabrication.
• Experience preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and portable power tools.
• Experience locating and diagnosing electrical issues using standard troubleshooting practices.
• Ability to read and work from electrical blueprints, layouts, schematics, drawings, or other specs.
• Proficiency with standard electrician tools, measuring devices, and modern test instruments.
• Ability to support on-site electrical integration on ships, aircraft, vehicles, or shore stations.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, repair, and integration tasks supporting fabrication, prototyping, and system installation activities.
• Prepare grounding and bonding for fabrication tasks and support electrical integration on ships, aircraft, vehicles, and shore stations.
• Interpret electrical schematics, safely operate tools and test instruments, and ensure electrical work meets DoD production standards.
