Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Electrician Technician Intern to work on-site in Tempe, AZ. The role offers hands-on training in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within commercial facilities.

You will learn to read schematics, use testing tools, and assist with distribution systems, lighting, and control panels while adhering to NEC safety standards and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed education in electrical technology, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use testing equipment like multimeters, ammeters, and voltage testers to diagnose electrical issues.
• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, outlets, and equipment connections.
• Help install and maintain building electrical systems including lighting, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation; document work and materials in facility management systems.
• Support energy efficiency through LED retrofits and lighting controls.
