Smeal SFA in Snyder, NE, is seeking an Electrician for Specialty Vehicles to assemble electrical systems, program lighting according to specs, and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Proficient with common hand tools and power tools (drills, screw guns).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; works well in a team.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards and electrical components.
• Program lights from engineering specs and test electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry to ensure performance per specs.
• Read specs to ensure trucks are built per spec and perform functional tests.
• Address quality issues and ensure assembled units meet standards.
