Job summary

Kelvion Products Inc. is seeking a full-time Wiring Lead to manage the wiring function on the Manufacturing line at the Catoosa, OK facility.

You will ensure units leaving are wired correctly according to electrical schematics and Design drawings provided by Engineering. Responsibilities include reading schematics, operating End of Line Tester, troubleshooting electrical issues, teaching operators to read schematics, and coordinating with the Electro-Mechanical Technician to resolve wiring

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• One year experience working with electrical and communication preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and compare to electrical boxes to certify lines are running correctly.
• Operate and teach the End of Line Tester.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and communicate corrections to prevent recurrences.
• Teach operators how to read a schematic.
• Check in-house boxes for correct wiring.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on End of Line Tester equipment.
• Provide emergency assistance on the manufacturing line.
• Provide added training on the manufacturing line when needed.
• Work closely with Electro-Mechanical Technician to solve wiring problems.
• All other duties assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to lead the wiring function of the Manufacturing line in the Knoxville facility. This position is responsible for making sure that the units leaving are wired correctly based on the electrical schematics and Design drawings provided by Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Read the schematics and compare to Electrical boxes to certify the lines are running correct.
• Learn, understand and be able to teach and operate the End of Line Tester.
• Be able to trouble shoot any electrical issues and communicate the corrections in an effective way to prevent the same issues in the future.
• Teach operators how to read a schematic.
• Check in house boxes for correct wiring.
• On occasion be able to travel to customer sites and trouble shoot all electrical issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance on End of Line Tester equipment.
• Emergency assistance when units have issues on the manufacturing line.
• When needed, provide added training and assistance on the manufacturing line for any items that the person is knowledgeable on. i.e. Electrical testing and /or other applicable areas.
• Works closely with Electro-Mechanical Technician to accomplish any Electrical Issues and troubleshoot wiring problems.
• All other duties assigned.
