United Rentals, Inc. seeks an Electrical Technician to perform maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will conduct preventive maintenance, report issues for billing, and support the Service Department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
• Basic verbal and written skills.
• Basic electrical aptitude.
• Must own tools and have working knowledge of tools.
• Strong teamwork and customer service.
• Understand the rental cycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition for billing to the customer.
• Load and unload equipment per DOT regulations.
• Clean equipment and prepare it for new rental contracts or sale.
• Familiarize customers with equipment use.
• Perform minor repairs on rental equipment and tools.
• Assist higher-level technicians as needed.
• Assist in pickup and delivery to and from other locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
