Job summary

Actalent in Peoria, IL is seeking an Electrical Technician to support QA/QC on a utility-scale solar construction project. You will inspect electrical installations, verify drawings against NEC and project specs, and collaborate with field teams to ensure safety and quality.

This contract role involves ITPs, NCRs, documentation, and turnover; onsite in green field solar farm. Compensation is $30-$35 per hour with standard benefits.

• Track and report non-conformance issues (NCRs) and support resolution efforts.
• Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and turnover documentation.
• Collaborate with field superintendents, electrical foremen and crews, project managers, and engineers.
• Assist in coordinating with third-party inspectors and client representatives.
• Support commissioning readiness and punch list completion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
