Job summary

Zekelman Industries – Wheatland Tube in Wheatland, PA, is seeking an Electrical Technician to support plant operations through electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. You’ll work on control systems, power systems, and drives, with hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior manufacturing electrical experience preferred, PLC troubleshooting, reading schematics, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing electrical experience preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, motors, drives and relays.
• Able to read electrical schematics and follow diagrams.
• Strong communication and detail-oriented, with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electrical systems across all plant areas, including control and power systems.
• Troubleshoots PLCs, motors, drives and relays to restore uptime.
• Bends and installs conduit and wiring for equipment installations and upgrades.
• Executes preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Adheres to OSHA and safety policies, including LOTO and Arc Flash.
• Prepares documentation and reports per company standards.
• Supports crane repair and electrical servicing of plant operations equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
