Our Savannah, GA facility is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated, safety-focused Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team.

What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Technician, you will:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Maintain and service programmable controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), VFDs, and electrical panels
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
- Use technical documentation and test instruments to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis for equipment reliability
- Collaborate with operations to ensure consistent production uptime

Minimum Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a four-year electrical apprenticeship OR minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial electrical role
- Strong troubleshooting ability and working knowledge of PLCs and DCS systems
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial electrical standards
- Must be available for after-hours call-out rotation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
Bonus Skills
- SAP experience (work orders, BOMs, part locations)
- Proficiency with electrical test instruments: multimeters, meggers, calibrators, etc.
- Basic understanding of SCADA systems, automation principles, and controls
Working Conditions
- Regular exposure to mechanical parts, heights, temperature changes, and loud environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50–60 lbs and work in various physical positions including kneeling, climbing, and crouching
- Requires use of PPE and adherence to Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and other safety protocols
- This position is day shift, but future shift work may be required
