Job summary

Johnson Matthey Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and inspect electrical equipment across production operations in Wayne, PA.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, interpreting technical drawings and installing systems, with a focus on safe, compliant operations. You will work with PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools on computer‑controlled systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on motors, drives and control panels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and electrical trade school certification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, wiring methods, troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, drives, control systems and power distribution assets.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

The role

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and inspect electrical equipment across production operations to support safe and reliable performance. Interpret wiring diagrams, specifications and technical drawings to diagnose faults and determine repair requirements. Use PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools to identify equipment issues on computer‑controlled systems.
