Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician in Miami, FL for a contract-to-hire role focused on installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems for renewable energy projects. You will read blueprints, ensure code compliance, and work with engineers to meet safety and schedule requirements.

Fully onsite with US travel, pay is $30.00-$45.00 per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of electrical experience, and Florida license eligibility; renewable energy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical installation experience.
• Valid Florida Electrical License or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel 5-10 times per year within the US.
• Experience with solar or renewable energy systems is a plus.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. Your expertise will help ensure our projects meet safety standards and are completed efficiently.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with solar, battery storage, or other renewable energy systems is a plus.

• Willingness to travel 5-10 times a year within the US to installation sites.

• Experience with electrical wiring, PCB, testing, oscilloscopes, electrical testing equipment, micrometers, blueprints, hand tools, and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
