Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks an experienced Electrical Technician to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery in Manchester, NH. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance. You will read schematics, work with PLCs and drives, and document maintenance activity.

This 2nd shift position runs Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with training on 1st shift for at least two weeks. Pay is $40–$42 per hour with comprehensive benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and industrial control systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and machine maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with electrical installation, wiring, and conduit.
• Ability to troubleshoot using electrical meters and testing equipment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motor controls, and other industrial control equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Install and replace electrical and electronic components.
• Perform basic wiring and conduit work.
• Use electrical meters and other troubleshooting equipment.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, shift notes, and other required documentation.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts and materials as needed.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and installation projects.
• Work with contractors and vendors when needed.
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
