Job Title: Low Voltage Wiring Technician

Location: Kyle, TX

Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension for 1-2 People)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Starting at 3-4 PM)

Pay Rate: $20-25/hr

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Wiring Technicians to join our team on a temporary contract basis. These technicians will primarily focus on pulling wire, installing J-hooks, and performing other low-voltage wiring tasks. A strong background in low-voltage wiring is essential for this role. While experience with access control is a plus, the primary requirement is expertise in wiring installation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pull and install low voltage wiring for various systems
2. Install J-hooks and other wiring infrastructure components
3. Perform system installation tasks and ensure proper cable management
4. Follow installation standards and safety protocols
5. Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

1. Proven experience with low voltage wiring installation
2. Familiarity with wiring infrastructure, including J-hooks and cabling best practices
3. Ability to work 2nd shift hours (starting around 3-4 PM)
4. Reliable transportation to the office; company vehicles available from the office to job sites
5. Must pass a background check to obtain a Texas Security License (costs covered by employer)
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with access control systems
2. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Additional Information:

1. Temporary contract role, expected to conclude by August
