Job summary

DPC Services is seeking an Electrical Technician to support residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Forsyth, Georgia area. You will work with the Electrical Foreman and field crews to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of electrical field experience, is able to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and understands NEC codes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of electrical field experience preferred.
  • Experience with residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites and work overtime when needed.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Assist the Electrical Foreman with daily jobsite tasks and project execution.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Pull wire, install conduit, panels, fixtures, and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with repairs in the field.
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC codes and company standards.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles properly.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Communicate with foremen, project managers, and other team members regarding project progress.
  • Assist with material handling, inventory, and jobsite preparation.
  • Complete required paperwork, timekeeping, and documentation accurately.
  • Mentor and assist apprentices or less experienced team members as needed.

The pay range for this role is:
