Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift position in Florence, KY. The role is contract to hire with an immediate opening and an 8-hour Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Starting pay is $34.89 per hour, with increases to $36.73 after full-time hire following probation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, servo drives, vision systems, and preventative maintenance in a high/low voltage environment.

Qualifications

• Capable of troubleshooting PLC programs and reading wiring schematics.
• Experience with servo drives, servo motors and vision systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and high/low voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshooting servo drives and servo motors, vision systems.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Basic hydraulics and pneumatics understanding.
• Knowledge of ASI Bus, Profi Bus, relay logic and PID controllers.
• Ability to work with equipment up to 480 volts and utilize Ethernet/EtherCAT.

Electrical Maintenance Technician

3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday - 8 hour schedule

Contract to hire - NOT seasonal or temporary

$34.89/hr starting pay

pay increases to $36.73 at full time hire after probation

Required Education & Experience:Capable of troubleshooting PLC programs, such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, Allen Bradley. Ability to read wiring schematics

Essential Functions:

• Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems
• Troubleshooting servo drives and servo motors,Vision Systems
• Preventative maintenance
• Basic mechanical skills to include hydraulics and pneumatics understanding
• Knowledge and understanding of electricity, safety switches and relays
• Knowledge of wiring motors and check rotation, ASI Bus Systems, Profi Bus Systems,relay logic circuits, PMA Controllers, PID Controller and MotoMan Robotics,sensors, proxes, vision systems
• Must be comfortable performing work between 0 and 480 volts
• Understanding of Ethernet and Ethercat
• Basic mechanical skills to include hydraulics and pneumatics understanding
