Job summary

OMNI STAFFING in Cicero, IL is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for our production facility. You will maintain electrical power systems, communications, lighting, and control systems across the facility, ensuring reliable production and safety.

Requirements include electrical journeyman status or 5+ years in maintenance, experience with automated equipment, relay logic and PLCs, and adherence to safety protocols such as LOTO and Arc Flash. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman and/or 5+ years of experience working maintenance in a production facility.
• Experience working with automated equipment, relay logic, PLC’s and communication systems.
• Experience with safety protocols including LOTO, Arc Flash, confined space and aerial platform work.
• Read and understand electrical drawings with a basic understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Running a forklift, man lift, pipe threader, pipe bender, electrical meters, shop tools and equipment.

• Team members are expected to take initiative and work collaborative across the entire manufacturing process.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure continuity of production.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced electrical technician in our production facility in Cicero. This role will include, but not limited to, maintenance and repair of electrical power systems, communications, lighting, and control systems throughout the entire facility. All team members will be required to work in all areas of the operation.
