Job summary

Renu Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its field team for residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage system installations across the Carolinas. The role includes hands-on electrical work, following diagrams and codes, with safety and quality as top priorities.

The position offers on-site field work with local travel to job sites, during which new skills are built through classroom and hands-on training during the first 30 days, with tools and safety gear

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
• General knowledge of electrical work, construction, and OSHA safety practices.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• System Installation: Assist with the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems from start to finish.
• Electrical Work: Install system components while following electrical diagrams, specifications, and project requirements.
• Quality & Safety: Perform work in accordance with company standards, electrical codes, and safety requirements.
• Team Support: Assist the Electrical Team Lead and crew members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Equipment Management: Maintain work vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Field Service: Assist with electrical upgrades, rooftop work, and other field installation activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Complete training and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

We're looking for an Electrical Technician to join our growing team. In this field-based role, you'll assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage systems while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver safe, high-quality installations that meet company standards and electrical codes. Required / Minimum

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
• General knowledge of electrical work, construction, and OSHA safety practices
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred / Helpful

• 1+ year of electrical experience
• 1+ year of solar electrical experience
• Experience with residential or commercial electrical installations
• Interest in building a career in the renewable energy industry
