Responsibilities

  • Provides maintenance services for production, technical, and administrative personnel.
  • Repairs or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components.
  • Examines work orders and converse with machine operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problem.
  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
  • Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Performs tasks related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Digs holes or trenches for the installation of conduit or supports.
  • Threads conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets.
  • Communicates to Supervisor or Manager on any items that could adversely affect production.
  • All work to be performed on site.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About the role

Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications.

What you'll do

Qualifications

  • Proficient with manual and power tools
  • Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations
