Job summary

The E Group seeks a Controls Specialist 1 for an immediate W2 contract position in Ackerman, MS. The role requires 0-5 years of related field experience and electrical knowledge.

You will support and transition between projects, check cables and wiring in the field, and assist with site walk downs, cost estimates, startup support, layouts and conceptual designs.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting and transitioning between multiple projects.
• Checking cables and wiring in the field.
• Performing and assisting in site walk downs, preparing cost estimates, supporting start up, prepare layouts and conceptual designs.

Skillsets and Expertise (required):

• Proficiency in computer based platforms.
• Solid Electrical knowledge.
• Configuration/graphic skills in one or more platforms: Ovation, Foxboro, ABB, or PLC.
• Experience with field support.
• Experience with control narrative and markup.
• Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field.
• Expedience with cost estimating in sub disciplines.
• Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
