Job description

Critical Facility Technician (Electrical or Mechanical)
Single Interview Hiring Process
Why this role is a great transition

If you have worked around industrial electrical systems, rotating equipment, power distribution, turbines, compressors, pumps, or control systems, this role is a natural next step. Many of our strongest technicians come from oil and gas, manufacturing plants, power generation, wind farms, and heavy industrial sites.

You will apply the same safety mindset, troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience you already have, in a clean, stable, high-tech critical environment with long-term growth.

What You Will Do

As a Critical Facility Technician, you will support the energization and operation of mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems. Think of this role as industrial plant work inside a data-driven environment.

  • Performing electrical terminations, testing, and system energization under established procedures
  • Applying Lockout Tagout procedures to safely work on energized and de-energized equipment
  • Using meters and diagnostic tools to verify voltage, current, resistance, and continuity
  • Reading electrical one-lines, schematics, and mechanical drawings to support installs and troubleshooting
  • Monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, pressure systems, and cooling equipment
  • Supporting inspections, audits, and pre-energization checks to ensure systems are ready for operation
  • Working closely with a team to hit project milestones while maintaining strict safety standards

This is hands-on, technical work in a controlled environment with clear processes and strong safety culture.
