Arconic is seeking an Electrical Technical Specialist to join Tennessee Operations in Alcoa, TN. The role provides technical troubleshooting for maintenance and operations to restore product flow and offers technical leadership and training to craft employees.

The candidate will analyze equipment and process data to identify improvements, support outages planning, and manage small capital projects and major repairs. Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 6:00 pm–6:00 am, with day shift training first.

Job Summary

The Electrical Technical Specialist will provide technical troubleshooting skills for maintenance and operations to restore product flow, as well as provide technical leadership and training to craft employees. The person in this role is also expected to provide technical solutions to recurring design, process, and application problems, and analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities and develop solutions and system improvements. They will assist the maintenance department in short and long‑term outage planning and assist supervisors and crafts in following up on VPM issues and items from the daily management action register. This person would also be expected to develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects, and provide process engineering support.

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 6:00 pm–6:00 am, but the successful candidate will train on day shift before going to the night shift schedule.
