Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to own the portfolio's electrical engineering from utility interface to energization. You will evolve reference designs, specify switchgear and UPS topology, and drive energization readiness across sites.

Ideal candidates have led electrical engineering for data centers or heavy industrial builds, with a track record in protection studies, coordination, and working with utilities and AHJs to balance speed and safety.

• Review consultant studies, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, critically rather than ceremonially.

The Capacity Delivery Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

• Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years. Capacity Delivery owns technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.

• Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.

• Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 10s to 100s of GWs, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Role Scope

• You've led electrical engineering for data center or heavy industrial builds.

• You review protection and coordination studies and find the errors in them.

• You've owned energization sequences with utilities and AHJs.

• Your field decisions balance speed and safety without trading either away.

• Bonus: PE license. MV and HV distribution. Behind-the-meter generation. Utility interconnection.
