Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Electrical T&D Inspector to support operations in Cincinnati, OH. The role blends field inspections with office data entry, ensuring compliance with GO 95/165 and industry standards. Candidates must be able to travel and pass drug, background, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical utility field inspection, line work, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of GO 95 and GO 165 inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and structural inspections of poles, crossarms, insulators, transformers, conductors, and related components on transmission and distribution circuits.
• Identify defects, clearance violations, deterioration, and non-conforming installations.
• Record condition data using inspection software and mobile data collection tools.
• Verify equipment tagging, pole numbering, and asset location accuracy using GPS/GIS.
• Perform ground-based and UAS inspections per standards.
• Ensure all work complies with GO 95/165 and client specs.
