Job summary

Sol-Ark Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Test Engineer to own validation strategy, requirements, and production test systems at our Allen, Texas facility.

You will lead test development and calibration efforts, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality test solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in power electronics, embedded systems, and instrumentation, with experience in Python, LabVIEW, and TestStand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with power electronics, embedded systems, and analog/digital electronics.
• Proficiency with instrumentation, environmental testing, and calibration systems.
• Working knowledge of Python, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
• Experience with SQL, Git, and data analysis.
• Demonstrated technical project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy for engineering validation, manufacturing, and calibration.
• Lead development of production and engineering test systems.
• Manage internal engineering resources and external vendors.
• Develop test requirements from product specifications.
• Own manufacturing test stations throughout their lifecycle.
• Define calibration methodologies and equipment.
• Lead engineering validation testing and qualification activities.
• Drive design-for-test (DFT) improvements with hardware and firmware teams.
• Specify instrumentation and automated test equipment.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or similar technologies.
• Analyze test data to improve product quality and manufacturing yield.
• Manage test equipment budgets, schedules, and project execution.
• Ensure documentation, traceability, and configuration management.
• Support factory test issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position will be onsite at our warehouse in Allen, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area).

Full-time W-2 ONSITE opportunity (not remote)!
