Job summary

A leading electric motor company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the engineering team in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. This role requires collaboration with engineers and production teams to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and have experience in motor testing and troubleshooting VFDs. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in failure analysis of AC/DC motors and generators.
  • Troubleshoot and test Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Perform electrical testing including insulation resistance.
  • Support commissioning and functional testing of systems.
  • Inspect and test run electric motors.
