Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Process Control Lead in Electrical Systems to supervise journeyman electricians and provide technical guidance. You will lead design, installation, and maintenance of electrical building systems, coordinate with project managers, and model best practices for system reliability.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience performing the characteristic duties at the Process Control Lead level.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred for advanced work.
• California Licensed Electrician is preferred.
• Valid California Class C Non-commercial Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct journeyman electricians; provide training to staff and perform inspections.
• Serve as electrical SME for capital projects and campus electrical issues.
• Develop work scopes for contracted services and oversee field coordination.
• Assist with electrical system design, renewal, and standards development.
• Install, commission, operate, and maintain electrical building systems; troubleshoot with staff.
