Stadler is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to design and integrate complex electrical systems for rail vehicles. You will develop on-board power distribution, control networks, and safety-related functions, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams across international projects.
You will document concepts, specifications, and test plans, and support type tests, troubleshooting, and tender responses.
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the integration and design of complex electrical systems across the vehicle platform. This includes specifying and electrically integrating subcontractor systems such as entry systems, HVAC, fire protection, and lighting. You will design and develop on-board power distribution and supply networks from the main power converter to auxiliary systems, including the onboard, battery, and control power systems. Additionally, you will contribute to the control and operation architecture of the vehicle, designing critical functions and systems such as safety and assistance features, driving data recording, control technologies, train protection, and train communication networks.
