Electrical Systems Engineer (NASA Program)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated degreed Electrical Engineer with high voltage experience to develop system repair designs, calibration, and installation plans to support ongoing operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC), High Voltage System Manager, and the Facilities engineering and design group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing power system studies, field engineering, commissioning of new or upgraded facilities, and reviewing design packages.
• Working with project managers, design engineers, operational personnel, and maintenance staff.
• Experience in High Voltage Industrial Power Systems (2.4kV to 13.8kV), including power system studies, infrastructure design, troubleshooting, and system review.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• US Citizenship
• Background check and drug screening clearance

Desired:

• Experience with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of NFPA Codes and IEEE standards
