Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a hands-on electrical systems engineer to lead system integration efforts, validate designs with suppliers, and develop comprehensive test plans. The role involves heavy documentation and close cross-functional collaboration, including interactions with international teams.

The candidate should be prepared for extensive hands-on tuning of controls and algorithms for truck systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical systems experience.
• Understanding AC Motors, Control Logic and PCB Schematics.
• System integration or experience writing requirements for new features.
• CAN communication automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Creating, gathering, owning requirements, etc
• System Integration
• Heavy on Documentation, technical documentation experience.
• Validating the designs, working with suppliers to create accurate design, Components are usual internal customers (dealing with Japan on some designs). Cross-collaboration
• Develop Test plans/support testing. The systems engineers are hands on with testing as well.
• Hands on “tuning” tuning controls and algorithms on the truck. Working hands on is something this person must be willing to do
