The Electrical Systems Engineer is a customer-facing technical expert responsible for designing and supporting electrical systems for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical environments. This role bridges client requirements with internal engineering by working closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Review and interpret customer specifications, one-line diagrams, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
Support the specification of integrated MV/LV systems, including switchgear, PDUs, STS, and RPPs.
Serve as the technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead and support customer meetings, design walkthroughs, and technical clarifications.
Collaborate with Sales and Applications Engineering to prepare quotes and submittals
Stay informed on emerging technologies, especially those impacting power distribution for AI and edge computing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
3+ years in electrical power systems, ideally in data center or mission-critical environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Experience with OEM systems (e.g., Schneider Electric, GE, ABB, Siemens, SEL).
Background working with consulting engineers, OEMs, or EPC firms.
Understanding of how AI infrastructure impacts power density and system design
Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
