Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Systems and Software Quality Engineer to ensure high-quality software, embedded systems, and electrical components across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with software, electrical, product, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive robust QA processes and verify system performance. The role emphasizes structured testing, risk assessment, and continuous improvement, with mentorship of teammates and adherence to SDLC best

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
8+ years experience with a Bachelor's, 6+ with a Master's, or 3+ with a Ph.D.
Experience testing software, embedded systems, or electrical/electronic systems.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
Experience with defect tracking, issue management, and test management tools.
Understanding of quality methodologies, risk management, and continuous improvement principles.
Experience supporting FMEA development, control plans, and quality planning activities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across functions and locations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test strategies, plans, test cases, and validation activities for software, embedded systems, and electrical functionality.
Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, integration, and production environment testing across platforms.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with timely corrective actions.
Analyze requirements to develop validation plans and QA processes.
Collaborate with software, electrical, product, manufacturing, and quality teams for successful launches.
Support Agile processes and SDLC best practices.
Evaluate product performance using testing data, field feedback, and quality metrics.
Create and maintain quality documentation including requirements, specifications, validation reports, and test records.
Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation through FMEA, control plans, and verification.
Support development, maintenance, and execution of quality standards and technical requirements.
Assist in planning and evaluating system validation activities and product testing.
Provide quality support to engineering and manufacturing teams and help resolve issues.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.
Train and mentor team members on quality processes, testing methodologies, and tools.
