Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC designs components, products, and systems for production, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and reliability. It analyzes complex electronic components to evaluate performance, implement ECOs, and improve design revisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
8-11 years preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess complex electrical systems and designs for optimal performance, safety and regulatory compliance.
Manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring goals, timelines and budgets are met.
Design systems to address complex electrical problems with advanced tools and methods.
Develop more complex electrical designs, schematics and systems that integrate with existing infrastructure.
Implement processes to improve system efficiency and reliability, reducing costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align with business goals.
Mentor junior engineers to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and proper documentation.
