Edison Smart in Delaware, Ohio, is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to design, develop and validate three-phase power products for mission-critical infrastructure. The role is onsite in Delaware, with collaboration across engineering, firmware and manufacturing teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in product development and testing; knowledge of UL, IEC and NEC standards is preferred. A Master's degree is advantageous but not required.

Electrical Systems Engineer | Delaware, Ohio | Salary up to $140k

An opportunity is available for an Electrical Systems Engineer to support the design, development and validation of three-phase power products used in mission‑critical power infrastructure.

The Opportunity

• Onsite position in Delaware, Ohio
• Work on Static Transfer Switches (STS) and Power Distribution Units (PDU)
• Involvement in electrical system design, controls, protection and product validation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, firmware and manufacturing teams

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree is advantageous
• 3+ years of experience in product development and testing
• Understanding of industry standards, including UL, IEC and NEC
• Experience with three-phase power and power conversion or conditioning products is advantageous, but not essential
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
