Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is seeking an assembly-focused team member to produce semi-finished or final products and assist with packing as part of the production lines. You will read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions to assemble panels and systems on the shop floor.

You’ll perform manual assembly with hand tools, operate basic machinery, conduct regular quality testing, and maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams/instructions.
• Safely use basic tools and equipment on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products by reading diagrams and instructions for panels/systems.
• Perform manual assembly using light hand tools as required.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow SOPs.
