Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical to lead QA/QC activities for electrical equipment used in power generation. You will drive supplier audits, factory acceptance tests, and corrective actions across global projects.

In this role, expect extensive collaboration with Engineering, Global Sourcing, and site personnel, plus travel up to 70% to support audits and testing. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Power concentration preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering, quality, or inspection fields.
• Professional Engineer licensure or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project quality inspection budgets and monitor adherence.
• Lead cross-functional supplier qualification audits and factory acceptance tests.
• Inspect electrical equipment (low/medium voltage, transformers, MCCs) and review QA/QC documentation.
• Write and manage Non-Conformance Reports and CAPAs from issuance to verification.
• Coordinate with Global Sourcing to ensure quality criteria across procurements.
