Job summary

Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead electrical and instrumentation teams, develop staff capabilities, and drive safety, quality and overall performance improvements across operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise with PLCs, drives and industrial controls, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to plan and coordinate resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in E&I with supervisory experience.
• Experience with industrial control systems (PLC).
• Strong communication skills.

Salary up to $120,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Paid Relocation to Alabama

We're looking for a hands-on leader to drive safety, quality, and performance across our electrical and instrumentation teams. If you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing and know your way around PLCs, drives, and industrial controls, this is your moment.

What You’ll Do as the Electrical Supervisor:

• Supervise and develop staff technical capabilities.
• Motivate and direct resources to improve manufacturing systems’ performance safety, uptime, quality of output, and cost.
• Participate in control, software, instrumentation, electrical trouble shooting and upgrade/design efforts.
• Plan and schedule work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and resources.
• Direct, assist with equipment, system, and/or software installation.
• Plan and direct work applying knowledge of control, electrical and mechanical theories, national electrical code, and principles of process operation.
• Supervise various personnel actions including but not limited to, hiring, merit recommendations, and promotions.

Minimum requirements for Electrical / Instrumentation Supervisor position:

• Experience in any manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in E&I and a minimum of 2 years managerial / supervisory experience.
• Experience with industrial control systems and instrumentation (PLC).
• Demonstrated communications/listening skills.
