Electrical Superintendent | up to $160,000
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the planning, execution, and financial management of complex construction projects. This role involves supervising multiple teams and ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale projects involving multiple foremen and field teams of 40 to 75+ personnel.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders—including internal leadership, subcontractors, and designers—to resolve issues and coordinate work procedures.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and resources are appropriately allocated.
- Assess workforce needs and assign personnel to job sites as needed.
- Direct construction activities, ensuring all operations align with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Communicate contract scope and technical details to field personnel and administrative teams.
- Oversee contract administration, including negotiating changes with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Supervise and mentor field staff, including foremen, electricians, and apprentices, supporting their career development.
- Monitor and control project costs to maintain financial targets and positive cash flow.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with codes, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Support client relationships by delivering projects successfully and helping to secure future opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies or problems.
- Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities.
- Minimum of 15 years of trade experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven success leading electrical construction and renovation projects valued at $50 million or more.
- Solid understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA).
