Caddell Construction is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for government projects in Montgomery, AL. The role involves overseeing electrical operations, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with project leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure, supervising wiring, testing, and interpreting construction drawings. Travel is extensive, and the position offers a competitive salary and benefits package aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma/GED and four years' construction foreman/assistant superintendent experience.
• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and four years' experience preferred.
• Must maintain journeyman or master electrician license and identify regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Formulate and finalize the plan of operations, job layout, and schedule with the project team.
• Maintain current electrical license or ID to meet governmental regulations.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment; understand electrical networks and lighting.
• Inspect systems for hazards and compliance with codes; read wiring diagrams and ladder diagrams.
• Work with high voltage wiring/systems (480, 240, 277, 20 and 120 volts) safety checks.
• Test electrical systems for continuity using ohmmeters/voltmeters/oscilloscopes to ensure safety.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, prints, charts, and job specs.
