PCL Construction, Inc., part of the PCL Family of Companies, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent (14279) for Civil West in San Diego, CA. This role partners with the project team to drive safety, scheduling and field execution on complex construction sites.

You will mentor crews, coordinate trades, monitor progress against lookahead schedules, control costs and ensure quality. PCL offers competitive benefits and employee ownership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree required.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal enrollment preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry and operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation on site and adherence to requirements.
• Supervise, coach, train, and mentor the project team.
• Coordinate with PM, trades and suppliers to meet timelines, quality and safety.
• Collaborate with client, subcontractors, and site representatives to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, lookahead plans and execution strategy.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and profitability; identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain project documentation and strong stakeholder relationships.
