Job summary

AllCom Global Services / STRANTECH is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead the installation and repair of wiring, fixtures, and control equipment, while supervising electricians and trainees on the job. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, codes, and project schedules across complex electrical installations.

The candidate will plan layouts, manage material takeoffs, inspect systems, and ensure quality and compliance with project plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed electrician with current license.
• Minimum 5 years of Electrical superintendent experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/background checks and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel out of town 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specs and local codes.
• Perform electrical take offs from drawings.
• Ensure correct materials are installed per project plans and specs.
• Organize and assign tasks for electrical staff and maintain timelines.
• Maintain compliance with current National Electric Code.
• Inspect, commission and test electrical systems and components.
• Use blueprints and diagrams to complete projects.
• Prepare floor plan layouts to locate equipment per codes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduits and electrical boxes.
• Survey and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Prepare material quantity estimates based on drawings.
