Job summary

Wohlsen Construction Company seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent for Lancaster, PA. You will lead electrical construction activities from pre-construction through project completion, coordinating subcontractors, drawings, and field teams to ensure schedule and quality goals are met.

You will interpret electrical drawings, manage look-ahead schedules, and ensure safety at the site while collaborating with design teams, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of electrical construction experience with field supervision.
• Experience as Electrical Superintendent or Foreman or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical methods, materials, and installation.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and building codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specs, and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM tools preferred.
• Leadership, communication, organization, and problem solving.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field supervision and leadership for electrical construction activities.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Monitor installation quality, schedule, and code compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Develop and monitor electrical look-ahead schedules and manpower.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and coordination issues.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and enforce schedule/quality.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, startup, commissioning, and closeout.
• Maintain punch lists and timely completion of electrical work.
• Assist with RFIs, change orders, procurement, and project docs.
• Work with BIM Coordinator on coordination and constructability.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive job site.
• Partner with client, architects, engineers, subs, and vendors to deliver the project.
• Provide field expertise, mentorship, and support to the Project Team.
